ChronoPoints, led by Dr. Lori C. Walters, has scanned the former Orlando Chamber of Commerce (CoC) building at Lake Ivanhoe in Orlando (FL). The Nils Schweitzer-designed building is part of a project being conducted by Mr. Malic Dekkar to use various scanning technologies to preserve structures. The late Mr. Schweitzer was a student of fame 20th Century architect Frank Lloyd Wright, completing Wright’s Florida Southern College campus in Lakeland following Wright’s death. The Chamber of Commerce building has been unoccupied following the 2017 merger of the Orlando Economic Development Commission and the Chamber of Commerce. While there was consideration given to renovating the structure into a new Holocaust Memorial Center planned for the site, a new center design does not call for its incorporation.
