Drs. Kider and Walters of SENSEable Design presented to the NCS/UCF sponsored DoD STARBASE STEM enrichment program on Friday, March 25. Kider explained the Art, Math, and Science of BRUNO. So, he broke down some of the physics-based effects work of Disney and Pixar. He further told the kids EA, and Dreamworks are using similar graphics algorithms which can be expanded to applied research and training in the built environment. Walters explained how laser scanning can be used to monitor buildings and create accurate models of them in virtual environments.
