The ER: Exploratory Research Award is part of the UCF Seed funding program to assist UCF researchers in high-risk, high-reward activities. Our MemoryScan project will provide for the capture of 10 kilometers of LiDAR data to develop a novel large-scale pilot virtual reality experience.  Memories of oral history participants will be incorporated to permit accurate retrieval of site-specific knowledge.  We look forward to working with Langan Engineering to capture the LiDAR data with the Leica Pegasus 2 mobile scanner.
